Welcome to Spring Meadow Infant School

Thank you for your interest in Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery School. I am thrilled that you are exploring the possibility of joining our school community.

Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery school is based on the Eastern side of Ely and accommodates children aged 2-7 all over Ely as well as nearby villages of Prickwillow and Queen Adelaide. We are a Local Authority maintained school who work closely with other schools in the locality as well as working especially closely with Ely St Mary’s Junior school which is our feeder school. We also welcome children from all Cambridgeshire in our Special Needs Unit and work closely with the Special Needs school in our area.

We aim for Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery School to be a school that the community can be proud of, and where children come to learn, grow and develop, regardless of their age gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background or attainment level.

Our school values are Kind, knowledgeable, inclusive, independent, creative and resilient. Children are at the heart of everything we do at Spring Meadow and we value each child as an individual to ensure every child achieves their potential.

In March 2024 our school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of such an amazing school.

We hope you find all of the information you require on our website but if you need anything further, please do not hesitate to get in contact.

     Mrs. Laura Fielding
