Half Termly Overview

Week One - 06.11.2026 

In writing, we are learning how to write instructions. We have been using How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth as our model text. We looked at the main features of instructions and even followed some instructions to make our own woolly mammoths.

In history, we have been learning how historians use family trees. The children enjoyed creating their own family trees and thinking about the people in their families.

In maths, we have been using practical resources to help us find number bonds to 10.

It has been a lovely start to the new half term, and the children have settled back into their learning brilliantly.
