Headteacher's Message

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome to our new children, staff and families and welcome back to everyone else! A big congratulations to Mrs Fielding, who gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Pippa Elizabeth, on Monday. Both are doing well - Mrs Fielding is already planning on visiting us in a week or so!

This afternoon we held a special assembly to remember the life of Queen Elizabeth. As soon as we know how the period of mourning will impact on school we will pass this on to you.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome back, it has been lovely to see so many friendly faces again. I am very grateful to you all for remaining patient with us as we open up the gates each day, Mr Chenery was doing a great job of this but is currently unwell, we all wish him a speedy recovery. I am very impressed with your time keeping and attendance this week, remember that school starts at 9.00 so children should arrive in time to be ready to learn in their classrooms by 8.50. We will be locking the gates at 9.00 in time for the children to achieve this. If you need any support with ensuring your child is in school on time do ask us for help, we want your children to be safe and happy in school, working together makes such a difference.

Please bear with me while I learn all your names! If you want to speak to me, or any of the staff please use the office@ address as this means we can respond swiftly. Typically, I am on site Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday if you wish to see me face to face.

Best wishes,
Maria Higgins
Interim Headteacher
