Headteacher's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
We trust you all had a lovely half term and enjoyed the break. Thank you for all your support in ensuring your children arrive ready to start learning at 8.55am. We will be looking to extend the school day for September 2023, when the Government expectation is that all children spend 32 ½ hours in school each week.
A big thank you to Mrs Meneghello and Mrs Hodgkinson for their support with the library this week, they have even offered to come back next week!
You may have noticed that the gate moved over the half term holiday, this helps keep the children safe, as it means staff can see the whole playground now.
There will be some staff changes in the coming weeks as Mrs S Jones (Oak Class) and Mrs Norris (Willow Class) have decided to pursue new interests at the end of the month. We hope you join with us in wishing them well for the future. We are currently advertising for replacements, please share our adverts on social media to ensure we reach a wide audience.
Just a reminder that Bags2School are coming on Friday 18th November 2022 at 9am, please ensure you drop your bags off before then – we will be paid 50p per kilo we collect!
Best wishes,
Mrs Higgins
Interim Head Teacher
