Headteacher's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has been another busy week at Spring Meadow. The children have been continuing to engage in our new phonics scheme Read Write Inc. They are doing fantastically well and have grasped all of the processes and rhymes. The local authority English Advisor has been in to see revamped book corners and was pleased with how enthusiastic the children were. We have welcomed new children into nursery and hope that they are enjoying the start of their learning journey. I am delighted with the improvement in punctuality of children. However if you need support for your child to be in school on time please come and speak to us, as there are things we can do to help. We hope your children are settling in to their new classes and remember that we are here to work in partnership with you. If you have any questions, concerns or compliments do let us know.

Please remember we will be closed on Monday for the Queens funeral. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, have a wonderful weekend.

Best wishes,

Maria Higgins

Interim Headteacher

Messages to Sandringham

This week the children have all signed a poster with a message for the Royal Family. Mrs Spencer then took this to Sandringham and laid it with the flowers. Whilst there, a woman asked if the posters could go in a box to go to Buckingham Palace for King Charles to read. So our posters will be heading to the Palace for the Royal Family to see and read.

The stall will open at 2.45pm outside the school office and will be packed away at around 3.35pm.
