Headteacher's Message
Dear parents and carers,
What another exciting week it has been at Spring Meadow. Down in Reception, vegetables were captured and needed rescuing by the children as they begin to explore the book Supertato. Year 1 have been thinking about windmills and how they could make their own. Year 2 have begun learning how to touch type on keyboards in ICT. Rainbows have been practicing fine motor skills and reading Handa Surprise. The Nursery children have enjoyed welcoming new friends into their class.
On Wednesday, Mrs Fielding visited and we are looking forward to her returning on the 7th February. Sadly, following a period of ill health, Andre our caretaker has made the decision not to return, we wish him all the best with the future. We would also like to wish Kim Spencer or Thrive Practitioner all the best as she is moving onto pastures new.
Have a fantastic weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday morning.
Best wishes,
Maria Higgins
Interim Headteacher
