Headteacher's Message

Happy Friday!

It has been a busy week once again here at Spring Meadow. On Monday we had a visit from Mrs Fielding and her little ones - the children were delighted to see her. On Tuesday we held my first fire drill with the school and Children's centre - everyone was very safe! If you follow our Facebook page you might have seen our #TestitTuesday post. We also had parents evening this week, it was really good to see so many of you and share how your child is getting on with their learning. If you did not manage to see your child's teacher, please contact Miss Meek in the office to arrange a mutually convenient appointment. Wednesday was school photograph day, the previews of these should go home one day next week! On Thursday, Mr Brough was a good Samaritan and helped an elderly member of our community (just in case you wondered why the police were here). On Friday the whole school came together for a Remembrance Service in the hall.

I would like to thank Laura Elliott from Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy for their donation of sanitary products for the adult toilets at school – if you need sanitary products, please come into school and ask to use the toilet and you can help yourself if you need them.

Remember your Bags2School bags – we only have about 25 bags at the moment, we would be very grateful for more.

Have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes,

Maria Higgins

Interim Headteacher
